Adam Meggido

Adam is the co-creator and director of the Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical.


Showstopper! also won the Broadway World Audience Award for Best Comedy at the Edinburgh Festval and a Chortle Comedy Award for Best Character, Improv or Sketch.

Adam is also the AD of Extempore Theatre, a company dedicated to innovation and improvisation.


He directed Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Apollo Theatre and West End and UK tour), nominated for Best New Comedy, Olivier Awards 2016. He was consultant director on the television adaptation of Peter Pan Goes Wrong for BBC1 and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, also for BBC1.


He created The Terror Seasons, Britain’s first annual Festival of Horror Theatre and Grand Guignol, playing annually since 2004 (Soho Theatre, Southwark Playhouse) and enjoyed a five year collaboration with theatre maverick Ken Campbell, co-creating The School Of Night (Spirit of the Fringe Award winner) and the annual London 50 Hour Improvathons.
